Day 20

Theme: Interceding for Those in Authority

Scriptures:

[1 Timothy 2:1-4]

I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone-for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

[Proverbs 14:34]

Righteousness exalts a nation,
but a sin is a disgrace to any people.

Prayer Subjects:

1. Bless those whom God has placed in authority over the nation

2. Uphold those in authority, members of the Executive, Judiciary and Parliament: that they may exercise power righteously with accountability

3. Against corruption in the authorities: that there will not be any misuse and abuse of Government funds

Personals:

We might not respect the person, but we must respect his authority. I pray for our prime minister for that he will take good care of our nation and lead us to prosperity and advancement. I pray that everyone in the authority would consider the interests of the people and react accordingly. And, that corruption would come to an end one day soon. Change the heart and mind of these people LORD. In Jesus' Name, AMEN.
