Theme: Interceding for Christian MPs and those Playing a Role in the Public
Square

Scripture:

[Isaiah 11:2-5]

The Spirit of The LORD will rest on him-
the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and of power,
the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD-
and he will delight in the fear of the LORD.

He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes,
or decide by what he hears with his ears;
but with righteousness he will judge the needy,
with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth.
He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth;
with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked.
Righteousness will be his belt
and faithfulness the sash around his waist.

Prayer Subjects:

1. Christian politicians will be courageous, standing for justice and speaking to defend the poor, oppressed and marginalized.

2.God's protection, humility of service and protection against moral corruption upon all these servants

3. Other Christian workers in NGOs, social service organizations and other organizations, Christian activist and others who are contributing to the welfare of the nation


Personals:
It is commonly heard that sometimes when you're in something, you can't do somethings, and corruption seems to be an unavoidable issue in almost every political field anywhere. However, we are not of the World, we are not to conform to the norms of the World but of Gods' Kingdom. As Christians, we must be the example, the role model. Life is never easy, so don't complain. Father, I just wanna uphold all the Christians that are contributing in the nation's welfare, that they would have a clear mind, free from temptations of the devil, and use the Holy Spirits to guide them in making decision whenever necessary. In Jesus' Name AMEN.
