Day 19

Theme: The Christian in the public Square

Scriptures:

[Esther 4:13-14]

He sent back this answer:" Do not think that because you are in the king's house you alone of all the Jews will escape. For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will parish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?"

Prayer Subjects:

1. Confess if you have kept your faith private and away from public concerns

2. That the Lord may renew your heart and mind for the involvement in the public square

3. Pray for Christians in the public square: for their eyes to be enlightened to the hope and calling in the public square and see the vast opportunity to be the letters of Christ through exemplary lives that are without hypocrisy, are righteous and wise in the dealings and treatment of others, without fear or favour, putting the welfare of others before self ambition or agenda.

Personals:

As Christians, we are not to be ashamed of ourselves, we must be proud. I pray that Christians voice out our faith and reach the public squares, and when involved, live a life of a role model towards the people, God chose you for a purpose, live up to it, and you will be blessed. In Jesus Name, AMEN
